MAK Magazine relays delightful ideas and trustworthy tips to the modern feminine Do It Yourself-er via immersive design elements. This publication contains inspiration, instructions, and fun tidbits for projects focused on home decor and self-sustainability, targeted for seasonal delivery. After researching the DIY movement and its recent resurgence, we decided to focus on visuals that felt tangible and handcrafted to appeal to the modern single urban adult who is looking to rely less on manufactured products and services.
Creative direction involved a lot of staging photography using items from the projects themselves, as well as a variety of natural textures and tones paired with handdrawn elements and personable fonts.
